Hydraulic calc packages
Video coming soon — the written steps below cover everything.
What goes in
The calc reports your design software already exports — AutoSPRINK, MEPCAD, and friends. Drop in one PDF per remote area, or a single merged export; SprinkFlow detects the individual calculation sections either way and splits the index accordingly.
Build the package
- Open the Hydraulic Calc Package tool and set the project details (they carry over if you've been working the same job).
- Drop in your calc PDFs. Each detected calculation shows with its description — the remote area, density, and demand it found in the report.
- Order them the way you want them indexed.
- Pick a cover (same gallery and starred favorites as submittals; calc covers omit the disclaimer block).
- Generate, choose where to save, and the finished PDF opens — with an Open PDF button on the status line as a backup.
What comes out
- Cover page with the project and your company block
- A table of contents listing every calculation with clickable links
- Bookmarks per calc in the PDF sidebar, and continuous page numbers
Pairs with the submittal: many AHJs want the material submittal and calcs together. Generate both, then staple them with the PDF workspace (lesson A6) — or send them as the two clean files they are.
