Signing in & access
Design Studio checks a license at startup. For almost everyone that license is minted automatically from an active SprinkFlow Tools subscription — you sign in once and the Studio stays unlocked.
| What | Where you'll find it |
|---|---|
| Sign-in dialog | Appears automatically at startup when there is no valid license. |
| Refresh License… | Help menu → Refresh License… |
| Your account | sprinkflow.studio/account.html |
How access works
An active SprinkFlow Tools subscription is the entitlement. When you sign in, the cloud mints a 30-day license key for your machine and renews it quietly in the background whenever you are online. There is no separate Studio purchase and no separate Studio account.
Signing in
- Start the Studio. The sign-in dialog appears.
- Enter the same email and password as your SprinkFlow Tools account.
- If you use a password manager, choose the browser hand-off instead — the Studio opens your default browser to sign in there and picks the session back up automatically when you are done. Your manager can fill the form as usual.
Working offline
The key is good for 30 days at a time and self-renews whenever you are online, so an ordinary week of no connectivity is a non-event. If you are heading somewhere with no internet for longer than a month, open the Studio while you still have a connection so the key refreshes before you go.
When sign-in doesn't unlock it
- “No active subscription” — check your account page. A lapsed or failed payment removes Studio access along with everything else. Fix the subscription, then use Help → Refresh License… rather than restarting.
- Wrong email. The subscription email and the sign-in email have to be the same one. An address that never subscribed will authenticate fine and still have no entitlement.
- You just subscribed. Sign in again, or hit Refresh License… — the key is minted at sign-in, so a session that started before you subscribed does not have one yet.
- You were given a key directly. Testers without an account get a signed key to paste into the same dialog. It works exactly like a signed-in license.
The title bar
The title bar reads SprinkFlow Design Studio — Alpha — Licensed to <your name>. That is how the copy identifies itself; the “Alpha” word is what tells you which flavour of access you are on.
