DWG to PDF printing

What you'll make: clean monochrome PDF prints of a DWG's layout sheets — without owning AutoCAD.

Print a drawing

  1. Open DWG to PDF and import the drawing. DWG files read through the free ODA File Converter (SprinkFlow links you to the installer if it's missing); DXF needs nothing extra.
  2. Its paper-space layout sheets are listed with sizes — check the ones to print. Empty sheets are flagged.
  3. If the drawing has reference drawings (xrefs), they're listed with checkboxes — checked ones get merged into the print, exactly like binding. Uncheck a survey background you don't want, keep the site plan you do.
  4. Printing multiple sheets? Choose one merged PDF or separate files.
  5. Generate — sheets print at true size, black on white with uniform hairlines, matching what AutoCAD would plot: no-plot layers dropped, annotation scales respected, text masks intact.

No layout sheets?

Some drawings are model-space only. SprinkFlow offers a fallback: the whole model fitted onto your choice of paper (Letter through Arch E).

Xref tip: use Choose file… rather than drag-and-drop when the drawing has references — that way SprinkFlow can find the reference files sitting next to the original drawing (including an eTransmit "SUPPORT FILES" folder).
